This app has been very useful when I've needed it to scan work related documents. I find it pretty easy to use, which is a plus. The quality of the image captures from my phone are good, tho I've only used the B&W setting. I have my old scanner sitting in the closet and it's not likely that I'll be using it any time soon.

Edit, third time, Last update was remedied two or three updates after it hit. I lost count after the second... But it is once again back to normal, aside from some UI changes, order of operations changes, etc... Which do still throw one who's grown accustomed to the way it's been a bit off here and there, but it's functional once more, as it should be.
