How to Password Protect a PDF Online
Upload your PDF file
Select or drag and drop one .pdf document that you own or are authorized to protect.
Set a new password
Click Password Protect PDF to open the dialog. If the source PDF is already protected, first provide its current document-open or permissions password when prompted. Then enter and confirm the new password, and submit. Use the eye button to show or hide each password, or choose Cancel to return without submitting.
Download the protected PDF
When processing is complete, download the password-protected .pdf file and store the new password securely.
